Hike for Hospice 2014 |
9 March 2014 - Hong Kong Communications Co., Ltd joined the SPHC's (Society for the Promotion of Hospice Care) flagship fundraising event "Hike for Hospice 2014" in Tai Lam Country Park with short route (8km), standard route (14km) and long route (22km). This great hiking event has come to its 22nd year since 1992. The purpose is to encourage the healthy lifestyle through challenging hiking exercise with a beautiful park view along the hiking route, meanwhile to raise fund and collect donation from event sponsors for different charity projects in our society. To deliver our good willing and contribution to as a social-responsible enterprise, our colleagues formed a hiking team again this year. HKC are the official system sponsor for this annual hiking event

30-Hour Famine 2014 "Love Connects" |
![]() 30-Hour Famine 2014 has held "Love Connects" famine camping on 12th-13th April in Aberdeen Sports Ground with about 5,000 fellow campers to go barefoot and experience hunger. The purpose is to share our love with hungry children afar through our actions in the society. HKC, as a continuous major sponsor has supported this meaningful event and attend the fundraising again this year. All funds raised from 30-Hour Famine and social donation will be used to support World Vision's food security and development projects in Africa.?
